Subramanya Sarma Veluri
Priest Sri Subramanya Sarma Veluri hails from the Krishna District of Andhra Pradesh, India. Born in Vijayawada to a highly venerated priestly family, he completed Panchadasa Karmas at Sri Jagadguru Sankara Mandiram (Guntur) and went on to master the “Vaidika Smarta Agama,” later earning the Deva Daya Dharma Daya Sakha certification. After serving a decade as head priest at Sri Sambhu Lingeswara Devasthanam, he moved to California in 2014 to join the Sri Satyanarayana Swamy Devasthanam (VEDA) in Milpitas, where his elaborate Devi Navaratri Alankarams became a hallmark of the temple. Since 2022 he has worked independently, performing a full range of Vedic and Smarta rituals across the Bay Area and beyond. He currently resides in Lathrop, CA with his wife and two sons.
